Yuan Qin Master “Lord Wilton” Vintage Violin

The Guarneri “Lord Wilton” model was made in 1742, and was said to project a deep, dark tone without sacrificing power or brilliance. It represents an exceptional late period Guarneri, with unusual scroll, f-holes, and outline, reflecting the maker’s maturity and confidence.

Yuan Qin Master Vintage violins are hand-carved from aged-select tone-woods. Wood aesthetic choices based on the original instrument. Spruce top, and maple back. Ribs and scroll similar to back. Finished in spirit varnish, and ground colors inspired by the original. Each violin is shop adjusted by our experienced, in-house (Tucson, AZ) luthiers, to ensure excellent playability.
