Our trade-in program is available for violin, viola, cello, bass. Bass trade-ins are available to Tucson-area customers only.
For violin, viola, and cello trade-ins, your new instrument ships to you free. The rates below apply only to shipping your current instrument back to Southwest Strings.

Shipping & Delivery Information
When Will My Order Ship?
Most orders placed before 1:00 PM MST (Arizona time), Monday through Friday, ship the same day. Same-day shipping is not guaranteed.
Orders placed during holiday closures may take longer to ship.
We carry most items in inventory so orders can ship without delay. If an order contains an item that is not immediately available, we may hold the order until all items are ready so everything can ship together.
Delivery Times
Standard delivery: 7-10 business days.
Expedited delivery: Available Monday through Friday only. Weekend delivery is not available.
Because expedited shipping costs can vary by destination, some expedited orders may require a custom shipping quote.
Additional Shipping Information
- Higher-value purchases may require a signature at delivery
- We do not ship to freight-forwarding companies.
- Oversized and/or heavier items may require additional shipping charges.
- Shipping and delivery times may be affected by holiday closures.

Southwest Strings ships throughout the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, and to Puerto Rico.
International shipping is not available.
