Yuan Qin Master “Goldman” Vintage Violin
The 1716 “Goldman” Stradivari is a Golden Period instrument loaned to Yehudi Menuhin as a young prodigy in 1928 by the investment banker Henry Goldman. From 1945-1992, this violin was played most famously by Nathan Milstein.
Yuan Qin Master Vintage violins are hand-carved from aged-select tone-woods. Wood aesthetic choices based on the original instrument. Spruce top, and maple back. Ribs and scroll similar to back. Finished in spirit varnish, and ground colors inspired by the original. Each violin is shop adjusted by our experienced, in-house (Tucson, AZ) luthiers, to ensure excellent playability.
