Yuan Qin Master “Amati” Vintage Violin

The Amati pattern is a smaller-bodies 4/4 pattern. Modeled after Nicolo Amati of 17th century Cremona who inspired the next generation of Stradivari and Guarneri. This copy is ideal for the player looking for a more comfortable violin, not quite 7/8-size but smaller than a traditional 4/4 size.

Yuan Qin Master Vintage violins are hand-carved from aged-select tone-woods. Wood aesthetic choices based on the original instrument. Spruce top, and maple back. Ribs and scroll similar to back. Finished in spirit varnish, and ground colors inspired by the original. Each violin is shop adjusted by our experienced, in-house (Tucson, AZ) luthiers, to ensure excellent playability.
