Replaced Larsen IL Cannone violin strings after two months with the solo version. The solo strings produce a warm sound on my bright violin. The tone carries from the tip to the frog on the bow. Pizzicato warmly resonates without twanging at forte.

I wanted to try something new and had seen good reviews on these strings. Oh. My. Gosh! I love these and they sound amazing on my violin. Very nice clarity, resonance, projection and balance. I typically use Eudoxa A, D, G and Warchal Amber E. I paired the soloist version D, G, Soloist Warm and Broad A and the Warchal Amber E. Honestly, they sounded amazing right away and I’m really excited to see how they settle in the coming days. 10 stars!
