I have tried SO many different types of strings throughout my years of professional gigging and nothing compares to these! I fell in love with with the sound of gut strings when I was in college, but I almost always play outdoors and the tuning instability was a serious problem. These strings have a sound that is rich, complex, powerful, and comparable to gut strings. I highly recommend the warm and broad A string. I have been using these strings exclusively since they came out and they have never let me down! I do not use the E string though. My private teacher recommended the Warchal Amber E string and that’s my new go-to. However, the rest of this set is absolutely incredible! Highly recommended.

When I first used these strings last spring, it was like I had a whole new and better violin. I find I prefer the original A string that comes with the set. I like its focus better.
