The Hans Kroger Caprice cello is hand crafted in Europe by luthiers highly trained in the art of stringed instrument making. The Caprice cello is an excellent European choice that features a lovely warm, and well-balanced tone with excellent playability and projection. 

Hans Kroger Caprice cellos are hand-carved from naturally seasoned European tone-woods. Spruce top of medium grain. Inlaid purfling. Two-piece maple back, nicely figured. Ribs and scroll similar to back. Finished in a spirit varnish of amber on a golden ground. Each cello is professionally shop adjusted by our experienced, in-house (Tucson, AZ) luthiers, to assure excellent playability.  Made in Europe.

  • German ebony fingerboard and pegs
  • Composite tailpiece, 4 built-in string adjusters
  • Larsen Aurora string set
