The Bobelock 1047 half moon violin case is built with the same five layered plywood case construction found in our traditional oblong shape and covered with a durable black nylon canvas zippered cover and outside music pocket. The 1047 brings a new, lighter and trimmer case look.

This is a beautiful, inexpensive but sturdy case. I do wish I would have spent a little extra for the velvet instead of velour, though. Customer service was helpful when they shipped the wrong case at first but immediately replaced it with return labels for the wrong case.
