Thomastik-Infeld Visionviolin strings are designed with an advanced synthetic core to have a powerful and concentrated sound, without the brightness of steel strings. Vision strings are known especially for their brilliance and clarity with great focus. These strings have a short break-in time and consistently clear pitch. Although designed to be played as a full set, these stringsmix well with any of the other strings within the Vision line.

Beautiful clear sound and lasts fairly well in quality. I usually swap out the E string for Pirastro Gold Label. Southwest Strings website always has what I need.

This was only the second set of synthetic strings I’ve used on my Karl Meisel student violin from West Germany. Compared to the Thomastik-Infeld Dominants, their Visions were warmer and fuller sounding, with a much better G. I also like the wound E included in the set. They would’ve earned the 5th star if they were yet a bit darker on my instrument. I’m considering trying fit in my pursuit of a dark rich tone.
