The corresponding piano accompaniments, as well as the corresponding CD’s, are sold separately. Also available are Book and CD Combo Packs.
The editions of Volumes 1-9 are International Editions, which feature very minor alterations to the notation and text of the earlier Revised Editions. They are otherwise identical to, and fully compatible with, the Revised Editions.

The Suzuki Method is an internationally known music curriculum and teaching philosophy dating from the mid-20th century, created by Japanese violinist and pedagogue Shinichi Suzuki (1898-1998). The method aims to create an environment for learning music which parallels the linguistic environment of acquiring a native language. Dr. Suzuki believed that this environment would also help to foster good moral character (Source: Wikipedia.) Southwest Strings was recommended to me over 20 years ago by a son’s violin teacher. I now have a granddaughter beginning to take violin and went here first for supplies. Not only is there good quality, I was amazed at how quickly the items arrived on my front porch. The pricing is also better than our local violin shops. I will definitely use them again and recommend Southwest Strings to others.
