Southwest Strings is a phenomenal company with great prices and fast shipping. I recently bought the Goldbrokat E string for my violin and wow, what a difference it made with my Vision Solo strings. This string has great volume without sounding shrill and it really brought out the best sound in the rest of the set. Thanks Southwest Strings!

A powerful E string without being shrill. Pairs with almost any combo.

The Goldbrokat E has long been a standard for use with gut or synthetic Gs, Ds and As. It’s sweet, clear, and remarkably inexpensive. The Warchal
Russian A really worked wonders on my modern Guarneri copy when used with synthetic G and D, ridding it of a raspy quality on the lower two strings and making the “Cannone” label appropriate. Nice transition from D>A>E.
