Description

Fiddling Classics for Solo and Ensemble.  By Craig Duncan.  Published by Mel Bay.

Fiddling Classics contains 14 traditional arrangements of classic fiddle tunes from Texas, cowboy and Western Swing music traditions, written in an exciting twin/triple fiddle style.  The series includes three books for different instrumentation:

The Violin book includes two violin parts (solo and harmony) with guitar chords, and the piano accompaniment.
The Viola book includes two viola parts (solo and harmony) with guitar chords, a third violin part, and the full score
The Cello book includes two cello parts (solo and harmony) with guitar chords, a bass part, and the piano accompaniment.
All of the Fiddling Classics books are written as ensemble books, so they can be played as solo books or together in ensemble.
