String Builder is a string class method in which the violin, viola, cello, and bass play together throughout. Each book, however, is a complete unit and may be used separately for class or individual instruction. The material in this book is realistically graded so that only a minimum of explanatory material is required. Each melody is interesting and will provide the basis for a fine left and right hand technique.

I really like the clear instructions and the choice of short pieces to play that use whatever has been taught on the pages. My students don’t mind learning the positions using these books. Other methods seem to make it much more difficult to comprehend and/or enjoy.

Excellent teaching method for my students. Have used it for years. There are other methods and materials, but this String Builder Series advances my students at an excellent time frame.
