pros:
1. very sturdy,
2. semi portable,
3. well built,
4. it could be used as table-top music stand,
5. compatible with Manhasset Music Stand Accessory Shelf,
6. great for in home use due to the cons listed as follows
cons:
1. no bag
2. weigh 6 pounds
3. for portable purposes it takes some practice to set it up and needs a big bag to carry it, unless one wants to carry it just as is.
I chose this stand for at home practice and I am very happy with it. It looks nice, construction is very solid, was easy to set up and it’s very adjustable. I would highly recommend.
I love this stand because it’s easy to carry, but the plastic parts break. Kids crank the hand screws too hard when raising, lowering or tilting the desk. The plastic inside then breaks or something gets stripped. It’s a good price and our fledgling nonprofit music school can’t afford Manhassets. So now we have a studio full of broken stands. Black duct tape, here I come.
