Description
Petz Vienna’s Best rosin is a soft, low dust formula that provides excellent adhesion and minimal side noise. The distillation process uses pressure and low temperature during extraction, this helps to maintain the original properties of the raw materials. The addition of beeswax results in an exceptionally soft rosin that can be applied in any environmental conditions. Vienna’s Best is a premium rosin intended for experienced players and professional musicians.
Available for violin/viola or cello.

Felt compelled to write this in answer to the other “sliding” review. I find this rosin AMAZING for warming up a too-dark-sounding instrument (cello). I had the same “sliding” issue – I just add a minimum once up and back minimal application of their soloist type and it’s fixed, still warm (more Viennese?) sounding. Apparently mixing rosin is common for bass players btw.

Not a soft pliable rosin as described. Beewax ingredient makes bow hairs slide and skid on strings. Can’t make sound with this rosin. Maybe it’s only for a professional player?
