The Yuan Qin violin is an advanced Chinese-made instrument, offering the pre-professional player a soloistic tone quality, at an affordable price. Featuring a bright projecting sound, its impressive performance and superior tonal qualities make the Yuan Qin a popular choice with students and teachers alike. Clean and detailed workmanship produce instruments with a strong, sweet, resonant tone.
Yuan
Qin violins
are hand-carved
from aged-select tone-woods. Spruce top of medium to fine grain.
Maple back of well defined, narrow to medium flame. Ribs and scroll
similar to back. Finished in a spirit varnish of a pleasant reddish
brown on a golden ground. Each violin is shop adjusted by our
experienced, in-house luthiers, to assure excellent playability.
Outfit
includes #VACR7 Kaplan rosin with your choice of case and bow. Made
in China.
Size: 4/4 and 3/4
Fittings:
- German ebony fingerboard. Pegs, tailpiece, and endbutton
- Guarneri ebony chinrest
- Quality maple bridge
- String adjuster on E string only
- Pirastro Gold Label E string with Thomastik Dominant A, D, and G strings
