Pirastro Oliv violin strings are the standard by which other violin gut strings are measured. Long known for their superior quality of warmth and depth, Pirastro Oliv violin strings offer the musician purity of sound and a complexity found only in finely made gut strings.

The D and G are also available in the Rigid style. They produce a darker and warmer tone than the standard Olive D and G.

E string: Gold steel
A string: Aluminum over gut
D string: Gold-Aluminum over gut

A string: Ball
