Jazz Philharmonic

This series contains a collection of tunes that can be taught equally well in class or private lessons. Each unit contains a tune, written out solos, backgrounds, bass lines and parts for piano and percussion (or use the play-along CD). Beginning improvisation is developed through the use of preparatory pages and aural echoes on the CD. Improvisation is possible, but not required, for a successful performance.
