To a Wild Rose for Viola and Piano

Composed in 1896, while MacDowell was in Boston, Woodland Sketches is among the best known of the American composer's piano works. The famous first piece from opus 51, "To a Wild a Rose," has been adapted here for viola with piano accompaniment.
