Concert Pieces for Teaching Beginning Strings. This is a wonderful collection of familiar folk melodies, memorable classical themes, and highly original tunes accompanied by a play-along CD in each book. This is a progressive book where each tune demonstrates a particular pedagogical challenge that helps the young musician become more aware of the goals in playing a bowed-string instrument.
