The Scott Cao "Rocca" is based on a violin made in 1854 by Guiseppe Rocca during what is considered to be his finest period of instrument making. He is acclaimed to have found the secret of the composition of the varnish used by the masters Straivarius and Guarnerius. The Scott Cao "Rocca" has a full, penetrating tone. 0% Financing Available. 

The Scott Cao Rocca is a presentation of superior workmanship and detail. Hand-carved from beautifully figured and aged tone-woods. Spruce top of narrow grain. Two piece maple back of a relatively medium flame ascending toward the bouts. Ribs of a tighter flame, scroll similar. Finished in an oil varnish of a red-brown on a golden ground and antiqued in the style of the original violin. Outfits include #VACR7 Kaplan rosin: Your choice of case or bow. Made in China.
