Henri Delille Stradivari Le Brun Violin
An excellent copy of Stradivari's 1712 Le Brun violin from the workshop of Henri Delille. The original was owned by Niccolò Paganini and this copy exhibits the clear, bright tone of that instrument.
Spruce top of fine to medium grain. Two-piece maple back with strong flaming. Ribs and scroll similar to back. Finished in an oil varnish of light red-brown on a golden ground. Ebony fingerboard, pegs, tailpiece, and endbutton. Fine-tuner on E string. Guarneri-style, ebony chinrest. Handmade in China; set-up by Southwest Strings.
