Scott Cao Montagnana Cello
From: $2,400.00
Item Number: #
GP-STC750M
The Montagnana is based on a renowned cello from 1739 by the Venetian maker, Domenico Montagnana. The original instrument is often referred to as the "Sleeping Beauty" given that it had not been played for 100 years until it was obtained by the world famous virtuoso, Gregor Piatigorsky. The Scott Cao model is a beautiful interpretation of the original, featuring the larger Montagnana design that produces a full, penetrating tone.
