The Scott Cao "Guadagnini" is based on a cello from 1777 by J.B. Guadagnini during his creative period in Turin. It is believed to be the last commissioned instrument from his patron, Count Cozio di Salabue. The original cello is named the "Simpson" after H.P. Simpson, who owned it from 1911-1949. The Scott Cao "Guadagnini" is slightly smaller and more compact in body design than the original instrument. However, Scott Cao combines quality tone-woods with excellent craftsmanship to produce a cello with a full, even tone. 0% Financing Available.
