Legendary bassist Eddie Gomez and Academy Award winning documentary director Rob Epstein have teamed up to create this intimate, thoughtful and accessible demonstration of the technical and emotional aspects of playing music. Accompanied by pianist Mark Kramer, Eddie Gomez performs original pieces and jazz standards, demonstrating the technique and musicality that has made him famous. Concepts that integrate classical, Latin and jazz music are beautifully articulated and demonstrated. Gomez also addresses the more fundamental concepts, including warming up and playing in tune, with the same care as he uses in interpreting harmonic motion.
