Christmas Melodies: Double Stop Solos and Duets for Viola

The double stop solos of Volume I of Christmas Melodies can be played by students in at least late Book 3 to early Book 4 of the Suzuki method and by traditional students studying perhaps Seitz or Vivaldi concerti. The duet arrangements, however, can be read and played by less advanced students.
Volume II Christmas Melodies double stop solos are geared for Suzuki students in at least Book 6 and for traditional students studying perhaps J.C. Bach or Handel concerti. It should be noted, however, that the duet versions found in Volume II are arranged so that students who have fairly strong music reading skills, i.e., that are able to play the double stop solo arrangements in Volume I, can also play these arrangements. This makes Volume II accessible to a broader range of students.
