Tango Trio, Op. 71 for Violin, Cello, and Piano by Miguel del Aguila. This work was composed in 2002 and was premiered at the Chautaugqua Music Festival by the New Arts Trio. It evokes Argentine-Uruguayan tango idioms and especially recalls the neo-romantic and sentimental style of the early tango period between 1910 and 1940.
