Souvenir D'Amerique "Yankee Doodle Variations", Op. 17 for Viola and Piano

This set of variations, based on the melody of the popular song "Yankee Doodle", was played as a surprise encore piece at many of Vieuxtemps' recitals. Originally for violin and piano, this popular showpiece is arranged for viola and piano by Frank Foerster.
