Representing the German workshop at its finest, the Franz Werner Virtuoso is expertly crafted from choice tone woods to provide a full, warm tone with excellent playability.

Made from beautifully figured and well-aged tone-woods. Solid spruce top of fine grain. Two piece maple back of strong, narrow flame. Ribs similar to back, scroll less flame. Lightly antiqued and finished in an oil varnish of a warm brown on a golden ground. Professionally shop adjusted.

This new cello has a touched-up 1" varnish blemish in the bridge area of top plate. Aesthetic only. It also has a touched-up 2" varnish blemish on the upper bout, top plate edge. Aesthetic only.
