Ming-Jiang Zhu 909V Viola

Ming-Jiang Zhu is a highly acclaimed maker and has won numerous awards at international competitions, including two gold medals for violin at the prestigious Violin Society of America. Violas from his workshop are crafted by highly trained makers overseen by Mr. Zhu and Mr. Shao Chen. They offer beautiful woods and craftsmanship, easy playability, and superior tone.

Made with European tonewoods, the 909 model is exceptional for its beautiful tone, excellent depth, and tonal complexity. Top of European spruce with fine to medium grain. Two piece European maple back, nicely flamed. Ribs and scroll similar to back. Finished in an attractive antiqued oil varnish of a red-brown on a yellow ground.
