Ming-Jiang Zhu, a highly acclaimed maker, has won numerous awards at international competitions. Of note, are the two gold medals won for violin at the prestigious Violin Society of America. His instruments are known for easy playability and superior response.
Made with European tonewoods, the 909 model is exceptional for its beautiful tone, excellent depth, and tonal complexity. Top of European spruce with fine to medium grain. Two piece European maple back, nicely flamed. Ribs and scroll similar to back. Finished in an attractive antiqued oil varnish of a red-brown on a yellow ground.
