David Gage Realist Viola Acoustic Transducer

The Realist acoustic transducer features an evolutionary design, resulting from a close collaboration between Ned Steinberger and David Gage. Both recording engineers and professional musicians have been startled by its full, rich tonality and even response when playing arco or pizzicato!

Designed to produce a high output level, the Realist does not require a pre-amp or other battery-powered amplification gear and it was engineered to produce a high signal-to-noise ratio and total shielding that enhances external RF noise rejection.

The pickup is shipped with a protective wood casing that is removed before installing under the bridge.
