Return Policy
All products except for strings, CDs, DVDs, and software may be returned for a refund within 30 days of product purchase. You will receive a full refund for the price paid as long as the goods are returned in like-new condition and in the original packaging. Products must be returned for replacement or credit within 30 days of original product receipt. Shipping and handling charges, including the cost of return shipping, are non-refundable. If you wish to return an item in which you initially paid no shipping charges, there will be an additional restocking fee as shown below:

Bows - $10.00
Violins, violas, mandolins, violin cases, viola cases, and mandolin cases - $18.00
Guitars and guitar cases - $30
Cellos and cello cases - $40.00
Basses and bass cases - $125.00

Trade-In Policy
If you purchased a new instrument from us in the past and need a bigger size or want to upgrade, our trade-in policy offers a credit towards the purchase of a new instrument.

If you have questions regarding the trade-in of your instrument, please contact Customer Service by calling (800) 723-6900.

Things to consider when deciding whether to trade in your instrument:
  • The total of the credit is calculated from the original value of the instrument to be traded in minus the cost of new strings, repairs and maintenance.
  • You are responsible to pay the shipping on the instrument that is being traded in.
  • The final trade-in value of your instrument may be less than if you were to seek a third-party method of selling your instrument.

Please note these important restrictions regarding our trade-in policy:
  • Our trade-in policy only applies to the purchase of a new instrument of equal or greater value.
  • The old instrument must be received back by us within 30 days of the purchase of your new instrument or you will be charged the full price for the new instrument.
