Why look for a rock tune
arranged for strings when this classic rock hit was written FOR strings!
Released in 1975, the original included an orchestra of middle-eastern
string players that created an unforgettable sound! Kashmir took
everyone by surprise and elevated Led Zeppelin to the status of rock
icons. Transcribed from the original, this piece includes all the
classic riffs. Great as an opener or encore!
Two Nocturnes arranged for violin and piano by Pablo de Sarasate.
Pablo de Sarasate (1844-1908), is one of the most important and most
successful violin virtuosos of the second half of the 19th century.
Apart from works of his own, Sarasate also arranged other works for his
own use, such as these two 'Nocturnes' by Frédéric Chopin. Sarasate
wanted to transfer some of the most beautiful and most tender melodies
to the violin, which he saw primarily as a vocal instrument.
This new Kalmus edition features twenty-two familiar melodies for cello and piano by master composers like Beethoven, Schubert, Haydn and Mozart. Great literature in a single volume for the advancing cellist.
