The third piano trio by Dvorák was written in 1883 in Prague; a
revised version appeared in the autumn of 1883 published by Simrock in
Berlin based on the direct collaboration with the composer. This present edition is based on the Simrock publication which
presents the final version of the work.
This collection of violin solos comprises 34 solos for violin and piano for the intermediate violin student. It features a collection of transcriptions from familiar classics and solos written specifically for the violin from the Baroque to the twentieth century. Included are works by Bach, Handel,Beethoven, Schumann, Brahms, Debussy, as well as violin classics such as Kol Nidre, and Wieniawski's Legende.
