Folk Strings is a collection of folk melodies from around the world arranged for strings. This collection includes melodies in a variety of moods and with rhythmic patterns which are representative of their country of origin. The arrangements in Folk Strings can be effective with players at a variety of levels. Less experienced players can play the melody line. In order to provide maximum flexibility, the collection is available in a number of instrumentations. The melody is passed around so that all members of the ensemble can have the opportunity to play the tune. Score and parts are marked with "Melody" and "Harmony" to help players bring out the melody at the appropriate moment.

Magic Carpet: Concert Pieces for the Youngest Beginner
The pieces in Magic Carpet use the same rhythms as the Twinkle Variations in the Suzuki Violin School Volume 1. The first eight pieces in the book are played on open E (or open A), and have an optional melody part, which may be played by teachers or more advanced students. Magic Carpet also includes five pieces which are designed to develop string crossings and finger placement. On the CD each piece is recorded at two speeds. The piano accompaniments and CD accompaniments are exciting and fun to play along with.

Bach and Before for Strings contains the same 19 chorales as Bach and Before for Band. Newly set in string-friendly keys, the string book cannot be used in conjunction with the band book. However, the book does provide material that is easily tailored to all string ensembles. Because each part book includes all four voice parts (soprano, alto, tenor, and bass) there are unlimited opportunities to introduce unison playing to the string orchestra. Unison playing is the most efficient way to improve the overall quality of a string orchestra's sound, and is the foundation of playing in-tune. The chorales range in difficulty from very easy to very sophisticated and are suitable for year two through high school string orchestras.
