The Swan from "Carnival of the Animals" for Cello and Piano
This publication represents the first Urtext edition of this popular cello work. In the original version, the cello was accompanied by two pianos. The second piano part is reproduced here in small print and permits a comparison of the two versions.
The present edition includes Debussy's lesser known Intermezzo and Scherzo for cello and piano. Both were composed in 1882, when Debussy was 20 years old. Includes a supplementary cello part with fingerings and bowings by Jeffrey Solow. Piano fingerings by Eckart Sellheim.
