The second volume in this popular series, Uni-Tunes II is an elementary to intermediate-level supplement that reinforces note reading and finger patterns in the keys of F Major, d minor, Bb Major, g minor, Eb Major, and c minor. The minor sections include the natural/pure, melodic, and harmonic forms of the minor scale. Each of the Major key sections and minor key sections feature unison exercises and harmonized etudes. The last portion of Uni-Tunes II includes one-octave scales in each of the keys featured. Great reinforcement and students will love the full-color illustrations.

The 'Paganini of the double bass' grew up in Venice, but moved to London as an adult. It is there that he probably wrote the twelve waltzes. They are quite likely the earliest surviving works for double bass solo. These charming pieces have until now not been published in their entirety. Despite their virtuosic impression, the technical hurdles can be comfortably mastered; the pieces are therefore not only suited for the concert hall but are also perfect encores.
